On 5 of April, the Polish Institute for International Affairs (PISM) organized the seminar on the Election of the President of the Republic of Moldova and its relevance for internal and external policy of the country.

IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE GOVERNMENTAL DECISION No 117 DATED 22.02.2012, THE EMBASSY OF THE REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA IN THE REPUBLIC OF POLAND WILL NOT WORK ON 08-09 MARCH 2012 DUE TO THE OFFICIAL HOLIDAYS.
During the last week diplomatic staff of the Embassy had a series of meetings with Polish and foreign partners in order to practical realization of previous planned actions as well as to establish new working contacts.
On this occasion, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, with the support of the UNDP Office in Chisinau, edited the first bilingual newspaper, entitled ”the Republic of Moldova: two decades in the large United Nations family".

On February 1, Ambassador Iurie Bodrug gave an interview to Radio Moldova, where he spoke about Polish-Moldovan cultural relations as well as Embassy's actions to promote direct relations between different localities in Moldova and Poland.
On 30 January, it was organized a presentation of the Republic of Moldova at the Culture Centre ORION, situated in Prague Poludnie sector of Warsaw. This included a photo exhibition entitled Moldova known and less known (prepared also with a personal contribution of Ala and Pavel Scura - Moldovan native business people, who currently are settle down in Poland) and also a video presentation about our country.
Ambassador Iurie Bodrug and his spouse have attended along with other heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Warsaw, the official reception given on the occasion of Christmas and New Year for the diplomatic corps by the President of Poland, Bronislaw Komorowski and his spouse.
